Civil Hacking at visualizar16

As you probably know, we have been participating in Civil Hacking Visualizar 16, a data visualization workshop held at Medialab Prado in Madrid.

During the first days of the workshop, some external projects are invited to be presented and serve as inspiration for those projects which are going to be effectively developed in the workshop.

One of theses external projects is called TIPI ciudadano. We think the information of this project suits very well in the kind of visual representations that journalists and other professionals want to use in their data stories. We use their API and R to build a pair table & a properties table of political initiatives & their associated tags.  Then we upload both files to Google Drive and build this simple network.
